Chitwan Tour

Chitwan National park is locked in South central part of Nepal this National park has an area about 1000 square kilometers it is land of sub tropical lowland forest of the inner Terai. Which is 180km from Kathmandu and 120km from Pokhara. It is famous place for wildlife activities in 1984 it is declared UNESCO Natural Heritage site.

The Chitwan is become a main destination explore the part of the shivalik hills, is covered with deciduous forests overlooking the flood plains of Narayani river ,Rapti river and Reu river and it offering a wilderness os rich ecosystem that includes Mammals ,Birds ,Rrptiles and water Animals. There are more then 600 species plants, more then 68 mammals, 544 birds and 56 amphibians and reptiles can explore in the park.

The highhlight of this park are the 412 Asian one horned Rhinoceros and more then 93 Royal Bengal Tigers that live in this dense forests of the park. The park is sharing home for other Leopards , Gaur, wild boar, deer, monkey, Langur (monkey) and wild cat. In chitwan can fine many different types of snakes the python,while the river areas breed reptiles like the endangered long shouted Gharial popularly know as Gangetic Crocodiles and Marsh Crocdieles . Chitwan is large sub-tropical forest offers many unique birds flycatcher,Indian pitta, waterfowl ,ducks, bar-headed geese, cormorant, and migratory birds from Tibet and Siberia.The other differents birds woodpeckers,hornsbilld,peacocks and redheaded trogons etc…the Narayani river is famouse place to watch the fresh water Dolphin.

Nepal is rich country in culture and ethnic group Chitwan is famous ethnic group of Tharu where you can explore there best hospitality, museum, culture dance , and agriculture product….near by sauraha there are many historical and religious place Devghat, Balmiki ashram and Pandavnagar.

📍 Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu (1350m)
  • Pick-up from Tribhuvan International Airport

  • Transfer to hotel in Kathmandu

  • Welcome and briefing

  • Rest and relax


🏛️ Day 2: Full-Day Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley
  • Visit UNESCO World Heritage Sites:

    • Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple)

    • Pashupatinath Temple

    • Boudhanath Stupa

    • Patan or Bhaktapur Durbar Square

  • Overnight stay in Kathmandu


🛬 Day 3: Travel to Chitwan – Sauraha
  • Drive or fly to Bharatpur Airport

  • Transfer to hotel in Sauraha

  • 1:30 PM – Lunch at the hotel

  • 2:30 PM – Activities begin:

    • Elephant ride or Jeep safari

    • Explore Tharu village

  • 6:00 PM – Dinner at the hotel

  • 8:00 PM – Tharu Cultural Program

  • Overnight stay in Sauraha


🌿 Day 4: Jungle Activities Continue
  • 6:00 AM – Morning tea

  • 6:30 AM – Canoeing on the Rapti River, Jungle walk & visit to Elephant Breeding Center

  • 10:30 AM – Breakfast & free time to relax or explore on your own

  • 1:30 PM – Lunch

  • 2:30 PM – Visit Elephant Bathing Center & enjoy a sunset view

  • 7:00 PM – Dinner & overnight at hotel


🐦 Day 5: Bird Watching & Return Journey
  • 6:00 AM – Morning tea

  • 6:30 AM – Bird watching tour

  • 8:00 AM – Breakfast & packing

  • 9:30 AM – Departure:

    • Drive or fly back to Kathmandu, Pokhara, Lumbini, or extend the stay with extra activities

  • End of Safari Program
